Noam Pitlik was an American television director and producer, best known for his work on popular sitcoms such as "Barney Miller," "One Day at a Time," and "Coach." He was born on November 4, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and began his career as an actor before transitioning to directing.
Pitlik received multiple Emmy Award nominations for his work on "Barney Miller," and won the award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series in 1979. He also directed episodes of other hit shows such as "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," "Diff'rent Strokes," and "Alice."
In addition to his work behind the camera, Pitlik also had a recurring role as a prison inmate on the television series "Taxi."
